Schwan's giveaway - act fast!

Schwan's is giving $10 off one food item to the first 500,000 new/returning customers that respond. This is not $10 off an order - it's $10 off one item. So order something that's $9.99, not two items for $4.99 or similar.

I'm getting the Fiesta Lime Chicken dinner for two - that will be 2 meals for me at work.

Now I'm off to take Mom for an eye appointment. She broke her glasses a couple of weeks ago, and has been wearing old glasses.

UPDATE: I already received my food! A Schwan's guy came by around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday with my order. He wasn't going to be available on Aug. 13, the day I selected to receive my order, so he came by already. Amazing.

MOM UPDATE: Mom has the beginning of a cataract (on her "good" eye), so she'll be having surgery in September. So no new glasses until after the surgery.

With respects to Judith Viorst . Lemme see. Wednesday was the day that our partly-outside kitty, Rocky, came home injured. I suspect someone might have kicked him, because his right front paw was dangling, and it looked like his ribs were hurt (based on how he meowed when we lightly touched his side).
