Evil Mad Scientist is "Making the World a Better Place, One Evil Mad Scientist at a Time." They have projects ranging from fractal snowflake cupcakes to electric origami to CandyFab.

A few projects that look like fun:

I've spent about an hour on the site so far and it looks like there are projects within my capabilities. I'd like to make a bristlebot and insert it into one of the little mice our cats like.

Kindle Fire giveaway

A song in my heart

Yesterday a co-worker was singing a line from "there were 10 in the bed and the little one said, 'roll over'" and it reminded me of the songs we used to sing when we were kids. Today one of my Facebook friends posted "{sings} all around the cobbler's bench...." So this post is dedicated to the folk songs we used to sing. "Down in the valley, valley so low. Hang your head over, hear the wind blow." "You get a line, I'll get a pole, honey (honey). You get a line, I'll get a pole, babe (babe)." (We only sang the first verse.)
