My crafty kid

Cayla is learning to knit, and I'm going to learn, too. I just got her a pair of needles and a skein of yarn at Hancock Fabrics, and one of the salespeople taught her to cast on and knit. Then I dropped her at Mom's while I went to work. When I picked her up 4 hours later, she had five rows done! (She did other stuff, like talk to Mom and watch TV and so on.) She's trying to knit a scarf.

I got myself needles and a skein of yarn, too, but haven't started yet. It's going to be hard to catch up with my crafty kid.
