The very definition of "relaxation"



Sometimes Buster likes to nap on the back of the sofa. It doesn't look all that comfortable, but he appears to like it.



Cayla is holding one of the cavy pups at left. Notice the wishbone-shaped white on his back. (Cayla says this one is a boy.)


Cayla says this one (below) is a girl. If she's right, the pups are the same sex of the parent they resemble. The pups have more color, though, where the parents are more white.

Has she actually sexed them yet? Or she's guessing by color? I can't imagine she'd do what is necessary for sexing guinea pigs.

With respects to Judith Viorst . Lemme see. Wednesday was the day that our partly-outside kitty, Rocky, came home injured. I suspect someone might have kicked him, because his right front paw was dangling, and it looked like his ribs were hurt (based on how he meowed when we lightly touched his side). I ended up calling the animal control guy (who suggested he could take Rocky to his cousin's farm and maybe Rocky will heal naturally. (Or maybe he'll just put him to sleep like he said originally. I'm hoping Rocky is okay, but have no way to know. I just couldn't find any vets willing to work out a payment arrangment with me.) It was the day I got a temporary filling for the tooth that lost one a few days ago (which seems like a plus, but it still counts).
