Carol's random babble

Well, I didn't have to drive the death trap today, and won't for a few more days, probably. I broke my glasses this morning. I was wiping water off my glasses when the frame broke next to the nose piece. The top of the frame is connected to the bow with a screw, so it wants to revolve. This doesn't help keep the lens in at all. Super glue is less than helpful. So, a new pair of glasses is in my near future. I'm currently wearing my old pair, which is also broken but in a way that allows me to function. I do have a headache from wearing my current glasses with only one lens and trying to cook, though. What a lovely day. ;-)

Have you ever unlocked and jumped into a moving vehicle? I have. Yesterday, I parked in The Messenger parking lot. I slammed the door and started walking around the Blazer. The Blazer started rolling backwards. I got my key, put it in the lock, turned it, opened the door and jumped in. By this time, the truck was in the middle of the parking lot. I turned it on and turned it around to park facing the street. There's a curb there, and the truck didn't have a chance to start rolling. Kent says he'll get it fixed. I still want my own car.
